When I was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer with bone metastasis in April 2023, it completely shattered my world. I was overwhelmed, struggling to process everything, and unsure how to move forward. My oncology team suggested that I connect with Think Pink, so I registered online. Within hours, I received a warm welcome call from BC nurse Jamie, and that’s when I discovered this wonderful place. Think Pink has been a sanctuary for me, focusing on wellness and providing me with the hope and support I desperately needed.

Every time I connect with Think Pink, it brings me comfort and positivity. I’m so grateful for the opportunities I’ve had, like attending the ‘Day of Indulgence,’ where I enjoyed a relaxing massage and hairdresser appointment. I also had a wonderful time at the Makeup Masterclass Fundraiser in October, where I learned how to create my own makeup looks and shared a lovely lunch with others. These experiences have been a bright spot in my journey.

Think Pink has given me more than just physical care—it has provided a warm and welcoming space where I feel truly supported. The team of BC nurses, facilitators, and volunteers have made me feel like I’m part of something special. The services they provide for breast cancer patients and survivors have helped me feel connected, empowered, and less alone. I know I’m not walking this path by myself.

Services like those offered by Think Pink are so important because they create opportunities for people like me to connect with others who are going through similar experiences. They help us feel less isolated and more hopeful, whether through in-person events or Zoom sessions. The chance to be involved in different activities really makes a difference in maintaining a positive outlook and staying engaged in life.

I just want to say a huge thank you to Think Pink for everything they’ve done for me. The services and events have been such a lifeline. I’m excited to see what the future holds, and I look forward to continuing my journey with Think Pink by my side.
