When we last met Karen Hitchings she was one person, with one challenge trying to make a difference.

Karen first came across The Living Centre when she was recuperating from cancer surgery. The support available and the friendships formed through the centre made a huge difference. Karen wanted to raise awareness and funds for the Think Pink Foundation Living Centre so she set herself a personal challenge to complete the Great Ocean Walk, a 104km hike from Apollo Bay to the 12 Apostles. So in a few easy steps, she set up a fundraising page through the Think Pink link on www.gofundraise.com.au  and then sent the link to her contacts through Facebook, Twitter and her own data base list.

Through her networks and efforts Karen raised over $7,000 for Think Pink – congratulations Karen on your efforts!
