Think Pink Living Centre moves to Docklands
Mirvac and the Think Pink Foundation have announced the move into the new Think Pink Living Centre now established on the ground floor of Forge, one of Mirvac’s major residential towers at Yarra’s Edge in Melbourne’s Docklands. On the edge of the Yarra, surrounded by parkland, the new Think Pink Living Centre designed by Mirvac’s architects Mirvac Design, will provide a unique facility with free services for women with breast cancer and their families to improve their breast cancer journey.

Contributors to the Think Pink Living Centre include Mirvac Design, Mirvac Construction, Temperzone, Miele, Dulux, Blind Concepts, Harvey Norman Commercial and Godfrey Hirst have contributed to the new Living Centre by donating mechanical ventilation units, kitchen appliances, paint, curtains, household appliances and floor coverings respectively, while Corrs Chambers Westgarth, WSP Australia, Hollerich Town Planning, PLP Building Surveyors & Consultants, Simpson Kotzman and Acoustic Logic have come on board as consultants. A vertical garden has been supplied by VIRID Vertical Gardens.
The Living Centre provides space for a 30-person seminar or a 6 to 12-person yoga class and space for private consultations and wig fitting.
The new centre at Forge will replace existing Think Pink Living Centre at 390 St Kilda Road, Melbourne, that was founded and nurtured by Irene Hendel OAM, a breast cancer survivor twice, and her husband David in 2010 with the assistance of Mirvac and Freemasons Victoria as principal sponsors.
The Think Pink Foundation extends our warmest wishes to all of our community, our staff and our clients for a most joyful, happy and safe Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
We also wish to extend our sincere thanks to our very generous and caring sponsors who make it possible for Think Pink to continue to provide free services to assist women and men with breast cancer.
